The Progressive Caucus of the California Democratic Party is committed to supporting and electing corporate-free candidates that put the needs of their constituents first.  This political action committee was formed to address the need for more progressive elected officials in local non-partisan positions.  Without a ‘bench’ of progressive candidates, it is exceedingly difficult to elect progressive mayors, assemblymembers, senators and congressional representatives. We have seen that the absence of progressive candidates at all levels has paved the way for the crises we now face in the environment, housing, college debt and incarceration, along with many other serious concerns. 

Beginning in the 2020 election season, the Progressive Caucus PAC will identify worthy progressive candidates across the state, hold fundraising events, and then prepare a targeted ad campaign that does not shy away from revealing the truth about corporate-funded candidates that stand in the way of better progressive options.
